October update...
Firstly, an enormous thanks to Marko Noode who successfully transferred the hosting of www.cacaphonique.com to my new provider this morning.
Also in advance that I am currently building a new site at www.theTOXICproject.co.uk which should be live next month, to coincide with PostPunk2 at the Signal Gallery, London (curated by Gaye Advert) for which I am showing new work...
And last, but not least.

e.s.t. & leucocyte...
Wellwellwell...sometimes a CD recording enters one's life & somehow gets woven into one's very soul. Last year my friend Mr. B. ripped a copy of this album 'Leucocyte' & I took it home. I was immediately entranced by the mix of jazz and a rock sensibility & have been ever since. I now understand that the main man in the e.s.t. trio, Esbjorn Svensson, died in a scuba-diving accident in 2008. What tragedy. And their star had been rising steadily in the jazz world up to that point...I finally ordered my own royalty copy recently, which arrived today. Research at Amazon has revealed that there are a fair few other highly-rated e.s.t. albums, such as 'From Gagarins Point of View' and 'Strange Place for Snow'. I will have to work may way through this back catalogue. I suddenly cannot exist without e.s.t. to embellish my life. R.I.P. Esbjorn...

cacaphonique website en vacances...

Due to the recent outing by wikileaks, my website has been forced to go on gardening leave. However, this blog will continue and indeed will get busier until Spring arrives, and the TOXIC project will blossom forth like a poisonous daffodil. With continued thanks to Marko and all who sail in him,
Ciao for now x

London Punk Tapes/Barcelona July 2010

!Hola!
Just back from the Arts Santa Monica installation private view, where my old photos of the Sex Pistols/Clash/Slits/Banshees/Gen X were being projected, along with loads of archive stuff about the punk explosion of '76/77. I met up with Vic Godard of Subway Sect (lovely chap), and hooked up with Jordi & Marc Valls, who put the whole thing together. This photo at the private view by Silvia Resorte, BCN punkess of Ultimo Resorte/Algo Toxico.
