e.s.t. & leucocyte...

Wellwellwell...sometimes a CD recording enters one's life & somehow gets woven into one's very soul. Last year my friend Mr. B. ripped a copy of this album 'Leucocyte' & I took it home. I was immediately entranced by the mix of jazz and a rock sensibility & have been ever since. I now understand that the main man in the e.s.t. trio, Esbjorn Svensson, died in a scuba-diving accident in 2008. What tragedy. And their star had been rising steadily in the jazz world up to that point...
I finally ordered my own royalty copy recently, which arrived today. Research at Amazon has revealed that there are a fair few other highly-rated e.s.t. albums, such as 'From Gagarins Point of View' and 'Strange Place for Snow'. I will have to work may way through this back catalogue. I suddenly cannot exist without e.s.t. to embellish my life. R.I.P. Esbjorn...
